Maverick Director, Rajamouli appealed Kannada people for the smooth release of Baahubali: The Conclusion and wanted to support the sequel too, like the former.
It seems Rajamouli failed to convince Sathyaraj who made inflammatory comments over Cauvery Water Dispute to say apology to the Kannada people. He shared a video message in detailed.
Rajamouli said that he wanted to clarify that the comments made by Sathyaraj sir are his personal and there is no relation either to him or Baahubali producers. He also said Sathyraj sir is neither producer nor director of the film. He is one among the actors who are part of Baahubali.
Rajamouli said, “I called to Sathyaraj sir and explained the situation but I don’t have the strength or authority to talk more on the issue with him. It’s unfair to stall the release of our film because of the comments made by Sathyaraj sir, nine years ago.”
He also said that Sathyaraj sir nothing will lose if the film may release or not. He urged don’t drag the film into this controversy. Like how you encourage Baahubali: The Beginning, in the same way, continue your supports to the Conclusion too.
On the other end, protests are continuing in the city. The groups are threatening to go for a state-wide bandh if Sathyaraj won’t admit his apology publicly on or before the release day of the film. Anyway, it’s not right to drag the film into the controversy.
Let’s hope, the controversy will end soon and gives a clear way for the grand release of the epic sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion.
