Khaidi no 150 is one of the most awaited movies in the recent times and must say the movie has created quite a buzz “BOSS IS BACK”.

Story:

Kathhi Seenu (Chiru) is a happy person who lives life happy go luckily. One day he escapes from the jail and wants to leave the country and good start a new life. While he is leaving he comes across and accident and saves a man.

The twist is when he realized the man he saved looks exactly like him his name is Shankar. He takes advantage of the situation and sends Shankar to the jail in his place and he takes the place of Shankar to ear good money.

In this journey he realizes that Shankar’s life is miserable as he is the only one who is dealing with the problems of the farmers. He decides to help the farmers and fights with the corporate companies. So how does he fight the problems and help the farmers?

Performances:

Firstly it is a treat to watch chirrup back on screen as it is clearly evident that he has acted with his soul such was the depth of the emotional dialogues in the film. His amazing dance moves, comedy timing all were a treat to the mega fans. Kajal looked gorgeous as ever and the pair looked good.

First half of the movie goes slow, DSP has done a good job with the songs and the last song is a remembrance as Charan joins with Chiru.

The Villain should have been another actor as he lacked the power to portray the power. No solid scenes between Chiru and the Villain. The story of the film is normal and does not have much twist. Second half goes serious and climax is slow.

Technincal Team:

DSP has done a good job as the music is well appreciated. Credits to DOP Ratnavelu who showed Chiru to the best that makes one wonder if he actually is 60 years old. Dialogues by Sai Madhav are nicely written. Production values take the top notch by Ram Charan. Director has done a good job; he has adapted the remake film well and presented it according to the taste of the Telugu audience.

Analysis:

V V Vinayak who is known to entertain masses with powerful stories made changes to the original story Katti according to the tastes of mega fans. Movie lovers witnessed similar stories which dealt with the famers suicides, plight of the farmers, corporates which try to take advantage of the farmers along with the politicians.

Mega fans love the film right from the first half with the introduction scene and film sails smoothly in a commercial manner with item song, romance and then turning serious with interval twist. Second half turns serious with hero turning one man army taking on the powerful corporate and politicians to emerge victor.

Film’s emotional connect is lost in the mega flavor, but fans and masses will not complain. Film became too sentimental in the second half and ends with routine climax. Vinayak’s screenplay and direction is ordinary unlike the way he did Ramana remake as Tagore elevating Chiranjeevi’s stardom. Comedy of Brahmanandam though entertained a bit is quite old fashioned.

Final Verdict:

Khaidi No 150 gives mega kick.. BOSS IS BACK!
