After Central Government’ new act, RERA on real estate to bring transparency between developers and buyers has been imposed from this May, but still some states haven't come under it. The Central Government has been passing strict orders and wanted every state to come under RERA.

Among all the states of the nation, Rajasthan seems to be in top position in implementing RERA. Rajasthan, Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje launched a website, and made it obligatory for all the real estate projects and agents in the state to register officially.

Post launching the website, Vasundhara Raje said that the website will keep people aware of the real estate projects and their rights. She strictly delivered a message to the developers in the State that no one will be allowed for advertising, marketing, booking and selling of any new projects without getting officially registered on the website.

Simply said,” No new projects are allowed to launch without registering on the website.” There is three months time to register for the ongoing projects and the developer can sell the projects. But no one will be entertained after the span of three months is over without registering.

If anyone developer or promoter fails, he/she shall be liable to pay a penalty of 5% extra on the estimated cost of real estate project. If further violates, the developer shall be punishable with imprisonment.
